Jason's career began in Baton Rouge Louisiana in 1991. While there, Jason worked for 9 years for a large salon company as the Director of Education. During this time he also traveled as a stylist educator for Brocato America . In 2000 Jason relocated to New York, where he worked at Oscar Bond Salon in SOHO for 10 years. While in NYC, Jason was a celebrity stylist with his styles and hair extensions appearing on many red carpets. His work also appeared in cosmopolitan, Mode, Teen Vogue and several other media outlets. Jason was named best haircut for $100 or less by InStyle magazine. Jason and his husband adopted their baby at birth in 2008. In 2010 they relocated to Birmingham to be closer to family and open Harbuck salon( his mothers, maiden name).
